How did we get here?

Our story began in 2014, when Romy Antoine identified unmet & under-served needs in workplace health, engagement, and performance.

It started when he had a chance encounter with a young woman. In their initial conversation, Romy learned that she gained over 20lbs in the first 6 months at her job, was extremely stressed, and had no energy to do anything outside of work. She told him that she was losing control and her job was making her depressed!

After 3 months of working with Romy on her fitness, she was able to get her life back on track, shed the pounds, and feel more excited about life (and work)! Her company was full of employees with similar problems, who needed help with work-life integration. Romy was asked to do a presentation for her organization and the rest was history!

Romy soon started doing presentations at many companies and was receiving positive feedback. He realized he had the potential to make work fun again. He wanted to be known as The Corporate Health Coach.

He learned the best practices in corporate wellness, attended conferences,  hosted workshops, and eventually published a book on millennial engagement. He soon became a Certified Corporate Wellness Specialist. Upon countless hours of research & practical application, networking and interviewing industry professionals, One Stop Wellness was born.

Since then, Romy has grown the company and built a network professionals from a variety of industries including psychology, finance, and management. He continues to support employee engagement by speaking to employees, business leaders, and human resources professionals at some of the leading industry conferences and events.

Meet Romy Antoine

Founder of One Stop Wellness

His passion to help people live healthy & fulfilling lives was triggered by a dark time in his life where he was running a business, working full-time as a scientist, and taking care of his mother who was battling an aggressive cancer – stressful combination!

During this time, he was hardly eating, not training, and barely sleeping; this was taking a terrible toll on his body. As someone who all his life had a lean, athletic physique – Romy began to not recognize the person looking back at him in the mirror. He knew he had to take action and not let his circumstances take control.

His mother told him not to forget about himself in all of his busyness. He took her words to heart and regained control of his life and has never looked back since!

This not only helped him get back on track and live out his passion, but also make an impact in the lives of as many people as possible. He traveled the country to learn from the most influential people in the fitness industry as well as working with many mentors and business coaches to perfect his craft. Romy’s scientific & psychological approach makes him a leader in the corporate wellness industry. stand out in such a saturated industry.

Romy is one of the most versatile, engaging, and empathetic human performance improvement leaders in his field. He has a degree in Biology & Exercise science and in addition to this, Romy holds multiple accredited personal training and nutrition certifications as well as a Corporate Wellness Specialist Certification from the Corporate Health & Wellness Association. making him one of the most versatile, engaging, and empathetic human performance improvement leaders in his field. He is also a Fitfluential Ambassador, which is a professional network of the most credible and influential people in the fitness industry.

In addition to his experience, Romy serves as a Health Educator and Workplace Health Committee member for the American Heart Association’s San Antonio chapter, allowing him to be involved with the community, while contributing to workplace wellness initiatives to build healthier and happier organizations.

Romy wants to make fitness fun and empowering for everyone. His programs give them the tools and knowledge to achieve what they never believed was possible and take full control of their health.
